35 year old, Left Arm medium-fast bowler Irfan Pathan has announced his retirement on Saturday (01-04-2020).

Irfan has made his debut at 19, against Australia at Adelaide, Pathan didn’t have an impressive debut as he leaked 169 runs and got one wicket.
However, he has proved himself as the finest Alrounders India has ever produced.

Irfan’s test match career was not much longer but he has shown some exceptional performances.
He has played 29 test matches and gets 100 wickets which include some of the great bowling moments against Pakistan,
Pathan got test hat-trick in a very first over against Pakistan back in 2006
He got the best figures in an innings 7/59.

Irfan made his One-day match debut against Aussies,

He has represented India in 120 One day matches and got 173 wickets, his career-best figures are 5/27.

Irfan has also played 24 T20 International matches and got 33 wickets.
He was also awarded as “Man of the Match” in 2007 T20 WorldCup.

He has represented India, Broda, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Kings 11 Punjab, Middlesex, Rising Pune supergiants, sunrises Hyderabad.

He played his last One day match against Srilanka in Palkele in 2014.
