Australian bowlers trashed Newzeland batting line up and won the match with a considerable margin of 247 runs along with leading 3 match series 2-0.

The second test match played at Melbourne cricket ground where Newzeland won the toss but set the Aussies to Bat first.

Australia starts impressively and sets a total of 467 runs, which includes marvelous hundred from a Travis Head, and a couple of the fifties from Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and captain Tim Paine.

In return, Newzeland batsman stumbles and haven’t shown resistance against the fierce pacers of Aussies and got out only for 148, Tom Latham scored a 50.

ICC ranked no 1. bowler pet Cummins struck hard at kiwis and got 5 wickets. Mitchel Starc and James Pattinson also took a couple.

Australia avoids follow on and come again for batting and declared the innings at 168-5.

While chasing the big target of 467 runs, Newzeland batting order collapsed again, Tom Blundell played a good knock of 121 runs but the NZ team went out at 240 runs.

Australia won the match from an impressive margin of 247 runs and also won the 3 match series as 2-0.
